parteE

In college, as part of the GE program (ok tanda na talaga ako…di ko na naabutan yung RGEP) we were asked to take speech (Comm3 or Kom3). And since I wasn’t that fluent in oral English, I chose to take up Kom3. There we were required to do impromptu and extemporaneous speeches. As my extemporaneous piece for finals, I chose E as topic. E stands for ecstacy or the “club” drug.

During that time, E was still not prevalent. Medyo tago pa nga yung paggamit nun. Unlike nowadays na lantaran na. I really can’t recall the gist of my speech. But what I can remember is how I demonstrated the effect of E. I made use of an egg to represent our brain. And the prolong use of E makes our brain similar to a cracked egg until the shells give way and the whites leak.

I dunno if I made a great impression to my audience with my analogy. But I got a 1.0 for my final speech. So what the heck am I talking about.

I just wanna say that E or ecstacy or parteE should be taken seriously. Yes it does give you a great feeling after taking it. But the adverse effects can be seen in five or so years. So if you are still not that hooked or just wanna try it due to peer pressure, better say NO!

hopeless case & of things despaired of...

Was introduced to St. Jude by an ex more than four years ago. At first I was kinda hesitant since I’m not really into any religious stuff. No I’m not an atheist, but I’m not a die-hard Catholic either. Let’s just say I’m somewhere in the middle. I actually don’t fuss about missing a Sunday mass.

Not even familiar with St. Jude and the parish. Been here once prior to my ex’s introduction. I think it was during Visita Iglesia when I was still young. Other than that, I wouldn’t even know where the heck the parish is located. Studied in QC so we were pretty much in opposite poles.

So there, it just so happened that my ex was a devotee. The first time he accompanied me at St. Jude, I was really surprised by the number of parishioners actually attending mass…on a Thursday evening! Mostly students who were asking blessings for their board exams.

Dunno but I somehow felt at home during my first visit. It’s as if St. Jude grew into me. I didn’t even feel obliged to attend mass unlike during Sunday masses. Initially, I really wanted to finish the nine consecutive novenas and have my first wish to St. Jude. After that, I wasn’t even counting. I just wanted to visit without any specific thing in mind. Maybe just guidance and good health for me, my family, and him. Even when he was falsely accused of doing illegal stuff at work, we asked guidance from St. Jude.

So there, even if our relationship ended abruptly, I was thankful that he introduced me to St. Jude and the Thursday novenas. If not for him, I’ll still be clueless and somewhat unguided. Thanks arpee!

In return, I do introduce St. Jude to people I know of. And to people I meet here at the site. Doing my share of enlightening souls LOL.

Sharing: I dunno if my physical qualities really stood out when I’m there (yes I’m kinda dark and looks foreign. But no I’m not!). Once I was approached by a Starbucks barista at Lee Gardens. She asked me if I frequent St. Jude. It turned out that she sees me seated at the front row during the evening masses. Another instance, just a while ago. A long time acquaintance popped me at YM asking if I was in white long sleeves seated at the first row last Thursday.

So there, in case you’ll be dropping by St. Jude, let me know. See you on Thursday! =)

Madalas nakikita ko sa chat yung description na:

  • certified gwaping/pogi
  • certified hunk
  • certified discreet/astig
  • certified blah blah blah

Tanong ko lang… san ba kumukuha ng certification? Kelangan ba certified true copy? Dapat din ba notarized? Can someone please enlighten me?!

...

I’ve been on and off guys4men and planetromeo mostly due to relationships. and because of it also that I kept on coming back. I’ve had my shares of dates and what-nots here. Now that I’m back the nth time, just wanna make things clear: not really into relationships now. I don’t think I have what it takes to maintain a decent one. I’m here for people who are also inteersted with:

> coffee (mostly starbucks)

> timezone (hoops and tekken)

> movie (anything but drama)

> badminton (I’m trying to get back on this)

> tennis (I’m trying to learn this again)

> spontaneous trips (had this urge of travelling alone)

> or plain hangouts

when the cat is away, the bitch will play...

I worked until past midnight at a coffeeshop in Makati. On my way home, while waiting for a bus at the Rustan’s Ayala side, there were two guys standing just beneath the steps. It appears that they were also waiting for the same bus. And no matter how dark it was, I can surely say that they were partners. So a bus going to Fairview came but I let it pass. It was pretty much crowded inside, and then a PLU in a black sando alighted. Then one of the couple who was standing beneath the steps hailed it while the other one stayed. Hinatid lang pala. As the next bus arrived (I think it’s a Monumento bus), I hailed it. And as I was about to sit, took a quick look at the guy that was left beneath the steps. Kaboom! He was already conversing with the sando guy that alighted from the first bus. It’s as if they were exchanging numbers since they were both holding their phones. Instant hook-up!

These kinds of stuffs are quite normal for a same-sex relationship. Instant hook-ups, polygamy, etc. One of the things I completely miss and yet one of the things that hinders me from entering in a new partnership. I just got tired of being that cat.
